The CRB IS661M Color Series blank brings an ideal 6'6" rod blank with a medium power and a mod/fast action to build an excellent rod for fishing a variety of freshwater and inshore locations and species.

This rod kit comes with CRB PERFORMANCE guides offered in "Concept"-style layouts for improved castability and an improved, high grade Titanium Oxide ring. Titanium Oxide allows for a slightly thinner and stronger ring when compared to the Standard guides.

I bought this kit for my son. He loves the color and the matching reel seat color really puts the whole thing visually in an amazing way.
I have purchased a couple of these shorter rods for kids and young adults. It's a great starter rod and everything that is included, in the kit, is on point. To be honest, I've built on several different CRB Color Series blanks and all of them have outperformed and was greater quality than my initial expectations. As a rod builder, it's nice when you watch a friend and professional angler winch a 42lb catfish, out of a Texas lake, with a 7'6" Med-Light Color Series rod that has your name and artwork on it. Figured it would snap or have blown the guide train off but it has kept on fishing with no problems for almost a year now.
