The CRB IS701ML Color Series blank takes a 7'0" rod blank with a medium-light power and adds a crisp fast action to catch anything from panfish and trout to aggresive bass in freshwater, as well as redfish, seatrout, and snook inshore.

This rod kit comes with CRB PERFORMANCE guides offered in "Concept"-style layouts for improved castability and an improved, high grade Titanium Oxide ring. Titanium Oxide allows for a slightly thinner and stronger ring when compared to the Standard guides.

First rod built in a long time,but was unsure of quality of the blank,but better than I imagined it would be.
I purchased this kit to build a rod specifically for my brother-in-law. He live in northern Arkansas and fishes primary the trout rich rivers near by. This kit has great components, I choose to upgrade a few of the to go with the Marine Corps theme I was designing.
