We personally guarantee that all the items we sell will meet with your personal satisfaction. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please call us within seven day of receipt to receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) and return your products to us in their original condition and a full refund will be issued. Domestic Shipping

Shipping charges will be automatically calculated at the time of checkout based on the rate table shown below. Orders shipped with this option may be shipped via USPS, Fedex, or a combination of both. Standard transit time is 3-5 business days but may take longer depending on carrier delays. Mud Hole assumes no responsiblity for late or delayed packages.

We provide tracking numbers with all of our FedEx shipments and will contact the carrier on your behalf should a package become lost in transit. To report a possible missing package just call us at (407)447-RODS (7637), but please allow a reasonable amount of time (5 business days) to pass before reporting it to us.

Deliveries Requiring a Signature

To make sure your order reaches you safely, sometimes our carriers require a signature for delivery. Orders over $500 require a signature – the carrier will make three delivery attempts before sending the package back to Mud Hole. If you are not able to sign for your order please call us or place a note in the comments section of the checkout page.

Rod Blanks & Oversize Package Handling

There are several instances where oversize charges may be necessary to complete your shipment, typically when there are multiple packages or items that require additional freight charges. These charges will be automatically calculated at the time of checkout based on the rate table shown below. Oversize fees will only be assessed once, no matter how many qualifying items are on your order.

Expedited Shipping

Next Day and 2nd Day shipping charges will be automatically calculated at the time of checkout based on the rate table shown below. 99% of expedited orders placed by 12pm noon (EST) ship the same day.

Overnight and 2nd Day orders always take precedence in our warehouse and ship the same day if placed before 12pm noon EST. FedEx only counts business days (Monday-Friday) when calculating delivery times.

Saturday delivery is not included. To request Saturday delivery, make a note in the comments section of the checkout process. You will be contacted with an updated shipping quote.

BACKORDERS:
Backordered items will be shipped by U.S. Mail or standard FedEx Ground, at no additional cost.

EXCLUDED ITEMS:
Rod blanks 9'/1pc. and longer and all Power Wrappers require additional postage. Please call us or email us for a shipping quote.

Mud Hole Custom Tackle's "Safe Shopping Guarantee" ensures that your credit card is 100% secured when you shop in our web site. We guarantee all purchases against credit card fraud when place through our secure server. The Fair Credit Billing Act states that your bank can only hold you liable for $50.00 of fraudulent credit card charges. In the unfortunate event that someone has unlawfully used your credit card number Mud Hole will cover that liability up to the maximum of $50.00. This guarantee applies to purchases made using Mud Hole's secure server (https: protocol).

Mud Hole Custom Tackle uses "Secure Sockets Layer" software which is the industry standard for website security. When you enter your credit card number, it is encrypted and sent to us. Only our servers can unencrypt your information.

Our gift certificates are the perfect gift for that hard to shop for person and guaranteed to be the one-size-fits-all gift. All amounts are payable in US funds (cashier checks, money orders, Visa, Master Card or wire transfer). We prefer to ship international orders via USPS or Federal Express using Priority Services.

• Orders under $200:
  • Shipping to Canada is 20% of the total order amount or a minimum of $12.95
  • Orders with a rod blank with a single section length over 72" subject to $19.50 handling.
  • Shipping to all other countries is 25% of the total order amount or a minimum of $30.00.
  • Orders with a rod blank with a single section length over 72" subject to $10.00 handling.
• Orders over $200:
  • You will be charged actual shipping costs plus $7.00 handling.

Duties and taxes are not included in this total and will be due upon receipt. Your order will require custom clearance for delivery.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item to us within 30 days. Returns may be requested by emailing our returns department at returns@mudhole.com or by phone at (407) 447-7637. You will be provided with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number and instructions for sending the product(s) back to us. Please have the Invoice number available. Please note the following:

1. Mud Hole Custom Tackle reserves its right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all returns.
2. To obtain the RMA number, please provide us with the invoice number and reason for the return.
3. Once you receive a return authorization you may return unused items in the original box with all accessories within 7 days for an exchange or refund.
4. Mud Hole Custom Tackle will not accept returned merchandise without a return authorization (RMA) number. This number must be posted in a conspicuous place on the outside of the package.
5. Merchandise must include a copy of your invoice or packing slip. Defective merchandise should be returned directly to the manufacturer under their return policy.
6. Shipping and handling is non-refundable.
7. Please allow up to 2 weeks for credit for returned items.
8. Shipping for returned merchandise must be prepaid by the customer
9. Books, videos and software sales are final.
10. Special orders may not be returned.

Damaged Packages

If the package was damaged in shipping refuse shipment or make sure the driver notes the damage on the delivery ticket. Save all original damaged packaging material and merchandise for the carrier to inspect.

Wholesale Membership, Qualifications & Expectations

A wholesale price list is available to legitimate professional dealers, rod builders and tackle stores engaged in the resale of fishing tackle, the business of custom rod building, fly tying and lure building.

Qualifications

To qualify for our wholesale pricing program the prospective business must be a professional rod building business and/or tackle shop engaged in the business of fishing tackle crafting. Only businesses who have taken the time to educate themselves in the tackle crafting industry, collect and pay taxes on their work and possess the appropriate insurance. These professionals count on the extra discount percentage received in the wholesale program on their supplies as profit to help cover the associated overhead costs involved with being a "legitimate" and "legal" business. Additionally, Mud Hole Custom Tackle passes on overhead savings when dealing with professional business who know how to order, how to build and assemble a rod. Because a wholesale order process is shorter, we are willing to pass on the saving to the professionals.

We are not in the business of supplying "underground" businesses that avoid things like taxes, nor are we interested in providing deep discounts to people who simply possess a business license or tax ID number of some sort and want to make some rods.

Expectations

A customer's completion of the wholesale application signifies their acknowledgement that they are a professional rod building and/or tackle store and have the experience, knowledge and know-how to assemble fishing rods and select individual components.

It is preferred for wholesale customers to place their orders on line. If you have to call your order in you are expected to have your account number ready and a list of needed parts prepared. Mud Hole sales personnel will assist wholesale customers with blank and component selection, however wholesale customers who consume an excessive amount of sales representatives time will be charged retail pricing.

Your wholesale program may be canceled or withdrawn at any time at the sole discretion of Mud Hole Custom Tackle.
