Available in both High and Lite Build Formulas. Use Lite Build for lighter, thinner coats. The 2oz. Kits (F2S and F2SL) include a pair of color-coded syringes. The 24cc Kits (F1K and F1KL) have everything you need to finish 4 average rods with two loaded 12 cc syringes, 4 brushes, 4 mixing cups and 4 mixing sticks. The 4oz. Kit (F4Y and F4YL) includes yorker caps so you can easily pop the cap off and squirt both parts into a mixing cup.
F1K 24cc Loaded Syringe Kit
Large 12 cc syringes come filled and ready to use. Enough finish to complete 4 average rods. Kit includes a 12 cc syringe loaded with part "A" resin, a 12 cc syringe loaded with part "B" hardener, 4 finishing brushes, 4 mixing cups, and 4 mixing sticks.
F2K 2oz. Super Kit
This Super Kit includes 2 oz. Kit Flex Coat Rod Wrapping finish, 2 color coded syringes, 5 finishing brushes, 5 mixing cups, and 5 mixing sticks.

I have tried just about every epoxy for rod building and keep coming back to Flex Coat Ultra V. Crystal clear and tough.
In 1978 a friend built two Eagle Claw 7ft. spinning rods for my brother and me. I was inspired by him asked him to teach me to build rods. We lived in Newport,Delaware at the time and purchased all our rods building supplies from a little shop in New Jersey Called Mud Hole. My teacher used a finish called Flex Coat two part epoxy I never changed to any other finish, I tried a few others Flex Coast worked for me then and I still use it to day forty six years later. Mud Hole is no longer in New Jersey a lot of things have changed over the years, I saw no reason to change the way I finish a build. Thanks Bill Alexander
Love this product! Have tried a bunch of other resins, but this lays/coats extremely even. Being I am a fishing guide, I use my rods alot, and the UV protection is the best!
I like using flex coat, I started building fishing rods about 10 years ago, the rod I built myself still looks good and no yellowing
