Only downside the green tip scratches off easy but great ice rod. First time ice fishing, it was a blast but super cold.

I love catching panfish with this rod. The tip is sensitive enough that you don’t need a spring bobber.

This is my first ever build. If you are just starting out I'd suggest going with something that has a stiffer tip. Itb was difficult getting the guides tied. Other than that, it feels great!! Well have to wait until next ice season to give it a try

Great rod blank I use it to catch multiple species

I love the action of this blank but it has a couple issues. The finish is a little rough and the blank isn’t straight. Fortunately the dogleg in the blank lined up with the spine
