The innovation in ceramics started more than 35 years ago with the Aluminum Oxide ring guide. Known for many years as the “Hard” ring, it ushered in a new generation of guides and tops. Today an updated version of the Aluminum Oxide ring is available. In addition to being lighter and thinner than the old “Hard” ring, these guides and tops are also made without a shock ring for better sensitivity. All Aluminum Oxide rings are diamond polished at Fuji’s state of the art facilities in Japan.

These guides and tops are what started it all. They have had many redesigns and upgrades over the years. In their current phase they all sit in corrosion resistant S-4 Stainless Steel and are made without a shock ring. Available in a variety of frame styles and finishes.
