This bench has all the same features as the C-Clamp version except that the front was designed to hold a Marryat MP-Pedestal vice. The recessed area that holds this vice measures 8" across and 5 1/8" deep. That is an area large enough to hold most brands of other pedestal vices. The other additional feature of this design are the rear two flat bottom holes found at each side of the vice. Besides holding a pile of finished flies these holes will also hold a solid brass removable hook/bead/eye cup. The thin rim of this cup makes removable of the smallest hooks or beads a snap. These cups are sold separately as an add on.
