Make sure your guides are in the proper place on the rod for fishing. Pulling a static deflection (stress-distribution) test is easy with this tool. To use, place rod in the rod holder, run line through the guides, fasten the line to the eyelet of the baseplate of the tool, and clamp the baseplate to your bench. Then reel until the rod is deflected and adjust the guide placement until correct. Easy stress distribution without another person present.
