Hialoy has become the most popular choice of many major rod manufacturers. This high grade ceramic ring is diamond polished to reduce friction and line wear. Hialoy guides will provide many years of service in all salt and freshwater applications making them an ideal choice for any rod.

Silicon Carbide will provide the ultimate in abrasion, corrosion, and thermal shock resistance, a performance plus on any rod where line speed, friction, and heat build-up are at the maximum. Titanium Oxide rings are diamond polished to a smoother surface and are harder than many other manufacturer's Aluminum Oxide rings. Strength and durability allows mounting without a shock ring.
