These butts come with reel seat, black plastic tuff butt and nylon gimbal. The aluminum tube that makes up the reel seat extends through the butt into the gimbal. Stuart is offering them as a complete butt section for rods.
Ideal for solid glass blanks. Anodized heavy marine-grade aluminum reel seat shaft is covered by a high density nylon Tuff-Butt Sleeve and gimbal to prevent corrosion and resist scratching. Tuff-Butt handle design offers blank-through construction. All locking nuts are reverse knurled to prevent scratching rods when storing or transporting.
Reel seat available in anodized polished clear silver, black, and black & gold. Assembly of reel seat shaft, sleeve and gimbal required. All Tuff-Butts come with the Stuart SC2 reel seats. Manufactured in the USA.
