Double Handed

Classic Progressive Taper, 6-11 wt.

Our Double Handed Rod Blanks have a classic progressive taper designed to maximize your Single Spey, Spiral Cast, Double Spey, or Circle C. Outstanding for heavy shooting head lines, bulky flies, and big water. Its smooth crisp action will load fast and shoot far, with enough delicacy to turn over a #8 Stone fly. Whether you’re on the hunt for giant Atlantic salmon on the Kola Peninsula, Baltic salmon in Scandinavia or steelhead on classic North American rivers, elegantly crafted Thomas & Thomas two-handed rod blanks are designed to exceed the expectations of today’s obsessed Spey anglers.

Apex

Fast Action, 8-10 wt.

Apex is designed for technically skilled anglers – guys headed for Florida tarpon, bones, snook or big Northeast stripers. If you're in this club, you know all about pounding wind and the need for a super-charged rod with the line speed to beat it back.

Horizon II

Fast Action, 3-14 and a 16 wt.

Built with T&T’s exclusive Bi-Angular Fiber Technology (BAFT), the Horizon II Series feels lighter and more responsive than other high-performance rods. Helix

Medium Action, 3-12 wt.

They load and cast with a short line, making accurate and quiet presentations, and excel at the longest possible shots on the windiest day. The experienced caster will notice the subtle softening of the Helix taper. Its medium fast action combined with our (BAFT) fiber orientation provides high line speed while preserving a sensation of line loading that's almost religious. Paradigm

Smooth Progressive Action, 3-6 wt.

The action of our Paradigm Series reaches back to the poetry of fly casting. These are rods for discriminating anglers who delight in the art of presenting flies to wary trout. But what truly separates the Paradigm from every other small creek rod is its extreme tip sensitivity. Paradigm's full-flex taper and fine tip diameter transmit the softest take from the smallest trout from line to hand.
