Many of our customers have asked
the differences between the FR-3PA series and the FR-TA (Tip Action)
series. Although they are few, the differences are significant.
The two piece FR-TA series blanks are made from the same high modulus
graphite as the FR-PA series, but the fast action tapers of the
TA series achieve higher line speeds and tighter loops, than the
other blanks offered by Gatti. The blank in the TA series are the
best choice for a person looking for a long casting, light-in-the-hand,
fast action rod. The accuracy of these rods is superb.
Some of the blanks in this series are specialized, but the majority
are designed to cover a broad range of conditions and needs. If
you want a fast action rod that feels light but casts with the power
of a heavy weight, this is the blank for you.
