HOW TO MAKE CORK HANDLES SHINE!
The following step-by-step instructions walk you though the process of bringing a high luster to you cork handles. This process works very well on Burl Cork and Knotty Cork handles but may be used on regular cork handles as well. When you are finished, you will have a cork handle that has a high luster finish like a fine piece of wood furniture.

Step 1 - Sand the handle with 600 grit sand paper. Click here to see the video.

Step 2 - Tack off the sanding dust, then coat with U40 Cork Seal and let dry 10 to 20 minutes until the cork seal soaks in. Click here to see the video.

Step 3 - Repeat step 2 by applying a second coat of U40 Cork Seal. This second coat will take 24 hours to dry. Click here to see the video.

Step 4 - Burnish the handle at high RPM's with a cotton cloth. You really need to generate some heat here to cause the U40 Cork Seal to come to a beautiful luster. Click here to see the Video.
