We have searched high and deep for a list of what we feel are good news groups for avid fisherman (and women) to garner information about a great sport. If you are not familiar with newsgroups, we'll try to explain in brief terms.

Newsgroups are lists containing information that is submitted by internet users from around the globe. Most News readers come with your email program. To set up your newsgroups, you must know the name of your "News Server." Contact your internet service provider for the correct server name to use. Not all newsgroups will be available to all users - as not all servers carry all newsgroups. We suggest you experiment and click on various groups posted below.
