These rods are overruns from the manufacturer in various stages of production. Due to purchasing agreements, we cannot mention the manufacturer. The blanks are made in the USA, 100% graphite. Due to the bulk purchase nature of these blanks and the nature of the blank manufacturing process, length, tip & butt sizes will vary. 90 day warranty.

Mud Hole Graphite Unsanded Rod Blanks are rod blanks in the last stage of production. The blanks have the shrink wrap cello tape still on the blanks. The cello type material can be easily be removed by just pealing it off. After you remove the cello tape, you can use the blank to build your rod. Once removed, the rod blanks will have a nice shiny finish with small ridges made from the resin squeezing out around the cello type. These blanks are charcoal gray in color. Mud Hole Graphite Sanded Rod Blanks are taken to the next step in the manufacturing process from our Mud Hole Unsanded Rod Blanks. Our sanded rod blanks have had the cellophane removed and the rod surface smoothed out by sanding the entire rod during the manufacturing process. These blanks have a matte finish to them. You can build using the rod "as-is" for a matte finished rod or coat the whole rod with an epoxy rod finish. The finish on these rods is similar to a G Loomis GLX or IMX blank. These blanks are matte charcoal gray in color.

Mud Hole Graphite Finished Rod Blanks are finished high gloss rod blanks. The sanding and finishing has been completed by the manufacturer. These blanks are prefect for the beginning rod builder to practice on or the experience rod builder to utilize. Currently these blanks are now available in two high gloss colors - Cobalt Blue, Root Beer Brown, dark Cherry Red and Gloss Black (all very nice looking blanks). . These blanks are all medium to fast action, lite power, approximately 0.468 butt abd 6.5 tips. The blanks make great spinning outfits with 6 to 15 pound line.
