A new adjustable composite reel seat is available for rod builders. The new graphite multi position reel seat, locks all reels securely while allowing for movement of the reel seat location on the blank - no more sticky electrical tape or clamps to move when you want to change reel locations! The adjustable graphite reel seat features two locking collar nuts at each end. The collar nuts screw onto the main graphite body which is cut to allow the body to compress. The tightening action of the collar nut onto the main body causes a compression of the main body against the rod, holding the reel seat in place. To move the reel seat simply loosen the collar nuts and relocate the reel seat.

Great for surf rods, boat, carp or pike fishing rods or for any rod where you want to alter the position of your reel seat to gain maximum casting distance and change out reels. The ID is adjustable to approximately 5 mm smaller than the size stated. The adjustable reel seat will fit on all rod blanks, works best on blanks that have a butt section of equal diameter or slow taper. Attach directly to the blank or over cork tape.

The reel seats are made with graphite for lightness and nylon for strength. Cushioned stainless steel hoods with a hard chrome finish reinforce the reel seat hoods. The overall length is of the reel seat is 9" and is shipped fully assembled. The adjustable reel seats are available with ID's of 20 mm, 22 mm, 24 mm, 25 mm, 26 mm, 28 mm.
