Amazing blanks

I built out my entire offshore arsenal of rods with these and other gator glass blanks. By far my favorite offshore rods I have ever owned. From snapper to kingfish to sailfish they are amazing.

That was the picture of the nearly completed crosswrap I did on the rod. My customer was absolutely thrilled with the completed product. All of the components fit perfectly in the ride came together with ease and I had it totally done in 10 days. This is the second Gator Blank I bought and I will buy again!

Decent rod for the price

I made this rod up for a 15-25 lb spinning rod for throwing heavy bucktail jigs at bonito. As far as I can make out it casts just fine and feels good to pull on. I just need to convince a fish to pull on the other end!

Material review

Greetings Rod builders. I’m getting back into Rod construction after a 20 year break. I’m building a matching set of Rods for my son’s new 31’ Open Fisherman.
From bait, to stand-up slammers. Level wind and spinning Rods. I’m fortunate to live close to the famous Jupiter Inlet in south Florida. We’re one of the closest points of land that is kissed by the Gulf Stream. Fishing is Off The Hook..
The Rogue blanks that I’m revealing here are for site casting from the boat. I like storing these rods on the sides of the center counsel in a vertical position.
Because the boat is equipped with a “T” Top, I like keeping the lengths at 7’. We fish IGFA 20lb. Test Line. Because of the salt water environment, I also chose those Red machined alloy reel seats. I’ve completed my design and have mounted the grips and reel seats. I chose the longer style end caps, as they hold up better being exposed to rod holders and a high stress environment. I found the blanks Spliens and epoxied everything together. The blanks are identical. Very consistent manufacturing and a nice gloss finish.
I’ll be winding them up shortly.
No matter your skill level. Everything you need including How-To’s from Mud-Hole.

I have a photo, but don’t see how to attach it
