The full wells cork grip is a standard for many fly rod builds that range from a 6-weight up to a 10-weight. This handle kit is at home in the saltwater as well as for the heavier freshwater applications. Those anglers looking to chase redfish, bonefish or even tarpon as well as large salmon, bass pike and even the elusive musky, this is the handle choice to best suit your needs. The super grade cork can be reamed to fit any fly applications and mates up to the AFS8L2 fly seat without worry about matching the inletting. These handles are finished with a cork fighting butt that looks as good as it functions and includes multiple sizes of winding checks to keep your build looking clean.

Kit Components

The 7.5 inch full wells grips is made from Super Grade cork and does not need an inlet to fits the included AFS8L2 reel seat. The all aluminum seat features double locking nuts for ultimate in security and comes in two colors, Black or Titanium finish. As with most full wells grips we include the 1 inch Cork/EVA fighting butt that is typically seen on Saltwater or heavy Freshwater fly rods. This handle set is ideal for rods from 6-weight to 10-weight.

Installation & How-To

Note: Handle kits do not include arbors. You can purchase one separately, or build one yourself using tape. Also, as blank diameters change, you may need to ream the inner diameter of the grips to match the blank. In instances where the blank diameter is small, you might need to create an arbor to fit the grip snug to the blank.
