MHX Elite-X Spin Jig Rod Blanks

Thank you for exchanging the defective one and promptly replacing it..I love the blank and way rod turned out

I wanted a rod that was comparable to some high quality name brand rods that I had fished in a friends boat and this blank was suggested by staff at Mud Hole. I use it for our light early season walleye bite using light jig heads with a minnow making slow retrieve across the bottom. This rod is so sensitive that I can feel every pebble and the lightest bite. It is quick and easily sets the hook. since fishing this rod I out fish everyone in the boat as I can feel even the slightest tap and get a perfect hookset almost every time. As for fighting it has plenty of backbone but with it's fast action it makes the fight a pure pleasure bringing in the fish. I can't wait to catch some harder fighting fish than walleye on this rod. Mud Hole hit a home run suggesting this blank which is now my most favorite rod ever. Thank you!

Currently in the middle of my build on this rod but right away the super light weight nature of this blank is incredibly apparent. It also has a super defined spine. Can't wait to get these guides wrapped.

I love building this blank! However I have a few suggestions that I believe would help you sell a ton of these blanks. I have built several of these and have lengthened them out from 7’3” to 8’ buy extending the butt end.
1.)Make it 8ft long
2.) Make it a two piece.
I could build many of these to sell to my panfish customers!
