SC78ML Review

Nice crisp action. Makes a very light but powerful rod. I expect to use it jigging for walleye and finesse jigging for bass. It should also work well for white bass. Looks like 6-8 lb line. The blank is so polished and smooth that it needed to be roughed a bit so the threads could catch and hold. I'm certain it will become a favorite!

SC78L review

Beautiful white rod that turned out a really nice rod. Action was a little softer than I expected. It will make a great trout, crappie, and white bass rod, but would prefer a more crisp action for walleye and finesse bass fishing. Excellent value

Use This For Rod Bottom Portion

When building my two piece 10+ foot rods, I like to use this as the bottom piece at the handle. Then the uppers can be made from other rods for the purpose I want. Don't need to be a pro at making a rod, watch my video.

Good, solid workhorse

Nothin' fancy here - just a solid workhorse rod grandson wanted to use with a spin-cast reel. We'll get him up to speed with a proper baitcaster reel down the road a bit, but I have every confidence this rod will be right there to make the transition. Grandson got to pick out EVERYTHING on the rod. 14-year old gets to design his own custom rod...how cool is that??? Now, if I can just entice him into building his own...... ;-) .......
