Looks great. ID is not the same all the way through.
It's a nice upgrade to the standard reel seat and works well in the lock down position. The ability to color coordinate is big plus in a reel seat that that is an upgrade in appearance.
Really cool look to your custom rod. Only recommendation is to use super gel glue around the inter rim of the insert. The glue will squeeze out into the windows on the outside if you don’t. Other than that it functions perfectly and look very cool.
