They really out did them self with this product and the price is right and affordable for the unbelievable positive preformance of this reel seat !
I’m building a set of Rods for a new 29’ open fisherman. From bait Rods, to Stand Up Slammers. Spinning and level winds, including a Kit Rod. Because of the salty environment and the abuse a rods life on a boat, I personally prefer the alloy seats to carbon composite ones.
I’ve been building rods for years and have used other brands. These seats are fantastic. The interior of the seats has machined grooves, assuring that the reel seat won’t break loose during offshore abuse. I love the color fingering. These two rods are 71/2’ and rated to 20lb . These spinning rods will be for sight casting from the boat. I’ve found that when I store these rods alongside the center console that 7’6” is as long as you can store under the T-Top.
The colors help quickly locate the correct rod and bait combination.
I love the fact that everything I need is here in one place and with how-to videos.
