I like the feel of the thicker grips and it looks like my gimbal just fine.
These things are amazing. I build salt water tuna rods and these are the trick. They sand down nice and hug the rod blanks very well. The material just seems to hold up better than other grips I have tried. Fighting big fish, it is nice to have a comfortable grip so you can worry something other than your hand fatigue.
