Overall this works good and will help you lay down epoxy at a fair price. But it does have a few drawbacks. Be aware the motor is loud at full speed (or it might be the gear box), the chuck is tight and has hard time with fighting butts over an inch and quarter or so, and the power cord is only 3 feet. The motor only spins one direction, so if you are used to a dryer motor going either direction this is not that. A positive is the dial box is attached with Velcro so you can turn it around which is good if you use this on the right. It also spins much straighter than the little dryer motors on stands.
I ordered this in the hope of getting straighter lines . It does that ! . I bought the short model after measuring my pacbay wraper stands finding that they are the same hight . It sits on my machine allowing me to us the rod stands ...However it is not a quiet unit .
