Fuji Prisma Metallic Thread

Disclaimer, I am semi new to Rodd building. While Fuji makes my favorite guides and favorite rod seats, I was not impressed with this thread. Specifically, I’m talking about the mermaid scales color. Perhaps if I was wrapping a larger diameter rod it would’ve looked better. However, my biggest complaint is that the thread was packed so tight on the spool that I kept getting birds nest every time I had to readjust my thread, spool tensioner due to the fact that I could barely pull the thread off of the spool. Maybe this is an isolated event. I’m not sure, but I would be willing to give their thread another try.
