It holds the reel very well!
I have used these in several builds. Strong and light weight. Customers love them and I use them on my personal latest inshore rods
I have used this seat on numerous casting and spinning rods for a top National catfish tournament angler. He likes a small reel seat without a trigger. Numerous large blue catfish in very heavy current and large weights without any issue.
Good solid product. No complaints. Shipping to MT look more time than expected.
