I have used this grip many times on my flounder and redfish rods. I love the texture and feel of it, and is a pretty easy application. The only downside is you need to be careful when using bug spray while using it. It will disintegrate the outer layer. So rinse your hands after using any type of Deet product.

I’ve been fishing tournaments for 19 years, so I’ve used quite a few rods over the years. I will say these grips are my favorite. Soft, comfortable, and has the traction like no other.
I’ve had a lot of compliments from clients. Along with my Son and myself. They are awesome. I have built a few 2wt and 4wt fly Rodz into spinning and even casting Rodz with these split grips.
